At present, organisations are involved in MARsCI in three different ways.
The project creators are the collaboration between the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR), the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN Asia) and ATMEC (and thus Love Wildlife Foundation). These represent a collaboration between the government, non-government and academic organisations.
Certification centers are organisations that have participated in multiple MARsCI cleanup and data collection dives, and have individuals that are qualified to able to certify other individuals in the MARsCI protocol.
Finally, our data collection partners are organisations who prioritise fieldwork components of the protocol and represent their respective regions.
