Tao Talay Aow Thai (TTAT)

Tao Talay Aow Thai is supported by our students, and is maintained thanks to the assistance of hundreds of contributors and volunteers. Our small team manages the project in our spare time and are grateful for any support provided. If you'd like to support our work and send us a coffee, please don't hesitate to contact us and send us an email!

Amir Patel is the co-manager of the TTAT (including Koh Tao Turtles) program and has been the lead data curator and point of contact on social media for the project since 2018. Thanks to his tireless work, and experience with sea turtle programs in several countries across the globe, the TTAT project has grown considerably!

Maythira Kasemsant is the main illustrator for the project on our regular progress reports since 2020 as well as a contributor to the project overall. Through her official brand Nature Toon, she has authored and published a diverse array of work educating and advocating for marine conservation and sustainability.
Rahul Mehrotra has managed the sea turtle monitoring project since 2015, which would eventually become TTAT. Now he co-manages the project alongside Amir and is responsible for the academic representation of the project, as well as liasing with the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources on major developments.
